Want to know something that’s great for fine motor skills for our young artists? Stringing beads! What I love even more about these is that they add a literacy component that my students absolutely love. I use these beads with my younger students as a part of a clay lesson where we create their first initial from clay. Afterward, they spell their names out with the beads, or simply pick out letters that they recognize.
